they could be replaced by donny or leeds or both.
Whats the odds on all three being in league 1 next season?

even worse, that they come back up again, and they will then think that they are an even bigger club!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wouldn't be surprised if relegation didn't tip them over the edge and they wallowed in that league for a few seasons ala notts forrest
surely for us the best Championship would be one with both Sheffield clubs, Leeds and Huddersfield in it? bumper gates, better atmosphere and four easy games to get to obviously with us coming above them all
The only problem with so many local derbies is our poor record in derby games. Get Wednesday down, I say!
hmm Not sure about that. Brum at home, wolves home, sarfend away, plymouth away Nevertheless I would love it, just feckin love it, if the dee dars, l**ds and pikecaster were having league 1 derbies next season.
Long term we are a lot better off with them down Short term we lose out in terms of the big gate's but in reality that is one game per season (for each team), one in 23 isn't that much. In the long term our fanbase will increase substantially and we will be a lot better off financially. Take a look at rotherham, hardly any people in barnsley support them because they are down in the lower leagues and always seem to be. A lot of people in rotherham support us, the pigs, united etc because they are in higher leagues. If Sheff Wed get relegated then we will gain some of their supporters (the floaters) and any new football fans in the barnsley/rotherham/doncaster and even sheffield will have far less 'big' sides to choose from. Doncaster, wednesday, rotherham, leeds, all in lower leagues. Barnsley and the blunts in the championship, a lot would pick us as their team and that can only be a good thing long term.
