another year of davey trying to make a player out of Odejayi.

As far as i can see the only attributes he has are pace and a big lad. Davey says all he needs to learn to do is be in the right place at the right time. Not from where i sit.

    1. He cant finish consistently
    2. Poor positional sense
    3. When he gets the ball its head down and run.
    4. When he has the ball infront of goal he just doesnt know whether to pass or shoot and by the time hes decided to pass its too late so he fluffs a poor shot.
    5. Not got a footballing brain.

Sorry but we could go out and get a 100m sprinter to replace him.

Its nice to see davey having faith but another season hoping he will come good isnt going to do us any good. I just know davey will stick by him and have blind faith.

I hope im wrong and next year he comes back a different player - hopefully the international experience will do him good. We just cant afford another year as his proving gound.

Davey will stick with Odejayi, whether we like it or not. He is the son of a preacher man and next season Davey will want all the help from above to keep us in this division. Same again next season, with a relegation battle ahead once again. :)

I think he will stick with him but not as the main striker. Davey will be well aware of the short comings this year
I'm sure the strike force will be different next season. I don't think he has had credit for sorting out the under
    performing players and replacing them.

i think your wrong, movement can be worked on which leads to being in the right place at the right time. Trouble with Odejayi this season is that he has no movement off the backline or even when a balls coming into the box so theres alot of hard work to be done over the summer. I believe with the right coaching Ode could be made into a decent player, not one that will score 20 a season but a good squad player and definately a good impact player. We should perservere in my opinion.
