    .........which may put a few clubs off like Wolves........other than that he will go - basically because he will get paid more at Wolves

    But this is Barnsley, the football equivalent of Poundland..........stack um high and sell um cheap

    So if there is a serious bid from Wolves then expect him to go

    The loss of such a talent is going to leave a huge hole in the defence at Barnsley - and one that is going to be difficult to fill.

    The incentive for lowish paid players is presumably to better themselves in their careers and earnings if we stand in their way when they want to go by them seeing it as a career enhancer or wage rise the incentive is gone and not by just the player concerned.
