Well today started off with a job to complete in the Shortlands area of Bromley and we duly did this task. Cancelled the afternoon's task in Chelsfield om account of a call from an old friend that was drinking in Croydon after alighting from the Rising Sun bus. Went over; had a very good time and met a few old faces i haven't seen in yonks. Thought buggar it !, and even made the match (first away game since Blackburn in '99). First half was ok but the second was absolute /poo . Right..... now i've been to Selhurst Park, can't wait for Wem-ber-lee!
Darn and blast!..... I went to 10 home games consecutively for a period of years? Does that count? Admittedly, yer honour, i haven't attended regularly for some time
RE: Darn and blast!..... know the feeling due to work. But hey, according to some I'm not a fan because i aint got a ST or go regular. Even though i've been a fan since i was 9 now 42.. I blame the prem league
Oh and I'm not the one saying who DESERVES a ticket and who doesnt... So tell me who's the tool. (wnkr)
pack your job in, or.. buy a season ticket, sell 20 of your tickets for a fiver when your working and go to 3 games. that makes you a propper fan
Now theres a thought.. I can become a sponging fook, and let someone else pay my bills and my mortgage.. cheers mate i'll look into that.
RE: Darn and blast!..... maughty = naughty what a nughty hector i am, eh? For me sir..... you are more than welcome/ entitled to a ticket. I am entitled to a ticket! what's interesting on here is that there are certain people - and they appear to be season ticket holders in the main - who think they have a bloody divine right to moan, moan, and bloody moan about wallflowers, part-timers, blah - blah-bloody-blah that people other than them are not entitled to tickets for the big occasion. YYYAAAWWWWNNN!!!! I've never had a season ticket - never had the privilege of income to put so much cash up front every season, but then again i was more regular than a lot more season ticket holders because i rarely missed an away game for an extensive amount of time. Admittedly; i ain't been too often in the past 8 years or so. So what? I earned my spurs way back. So........ to all you moaning minnies a bloody mig two-finger salute to you all!!!! Stop whingeing and try to enhance the occasion! A lot of supporters from previous years are getting involved in the club again, be it through the BBS or other channels, a negative attitude is B*ll*cks in my opinion. Maybe the reason there is a lack of support is due to the elitism that certain factors regularly spout about?
Oi Vinny yer Gaylord...... Yes mate. I bumped into Cuz before the game - apparently i've lost my accent and had to undergo a test whereby i spoke to Cuz whilst stood behind a bloke. The bloke reckoned i was from Norfolk. TTT t'was exceedingly good to see you yesterday lad (Y)
RE: Oi Vinny yer Gaylord...... Top test im sure Browns doing it with immigrants. Whos TTT btw do I know him/her? Wit Poldarks on mate!
Blue poldarks by any chance?....... He's a good lad from Dodeth. You'll probably know him by sight methinks. Top bloke h is (Y) I went to the game in my work togs and forgot about the lock knife in my pocket. When asked on entering the ground"Do you have any sharp objects in your pockets sir?" the woman's face was a picture when i replied "Well... actually yes. I've got a knife in my pocket". By all accounts i was not allowed in according to ground rules but she said she could see i was a good lad, and if i wanted the knife back then i could collect it at the front of the stand at the end of the game. After suffering the second half i wish she'd refused me entry ff
RE: what job do you do that has you down in Bromley? nt Builder............. Been down a few years now. Lived previously in Brockley. If you want any work done?
