A friend of mine is taking the Patrick Cryne tribute flag to Birmingham today, hopefully to put it on display in the ground. She's called Rebecca, and you'll be able to recognise her easily as she'll be wearing something red. She goes to every game, home and away, so she's the ideal Flag Lass.

I emailed Birmingham City FC on Wednesday to ask if any special permission was required to take the flag into the ground. I got no reply, so I emailed their secretary on Thursday evening. I got a reply immediately apologising and saying their Safety Officer will be in touch, but as of now (8:50am on Saturday) he/she has not found the time to reply, so we don't know whether the flag will be allowed in. If I get any more info today I'll put it on here.

If you see Rebecca struggling with a big black bag, please help her. Safe journey down and back and enjoy the game!

Re: The Patrick Cryne Flag - Update

Update: BCFC did finally get back to me, at 2:05 this aft!. The flag has arrived and was allowed in, but for some reason I can't seem to put photos on here.

You can see them on my website here http://www.wildyorkshireway.co.uk/gallery.php
