What was the boo'ing aimed at?

If you were boo'ing because Wright wasn't replaced, then you need your eyes testing, because Wright played much better than Richards did.

If you were just boo'ing Richards, then its good to see Barnsley fans haven't changed their ways of booing their own players.

It was directed at taking Richards off instead of Wright

Which particular player was booed is irrelevant...

It's disgraceful that any Reds fan would want to boo one of their own team...

    Wright did his job.

He put in a challenge on the goalkeeper for the first goal - something which Hayes and Richards never do, and got a reward for it. He hassled their defenders constantly, and when Nardiello came on, he probably realised that now he had somebody who would actually make runs off him.

Richards was shocking today - that miss at 1-1 stunk of a player with no confidence. Hayes was rightly dropped, now its Richards turn for a break for me.

    They weren't booing the player

    which miss?

the one where he was flagged offside?

i agree though - his confidence looked shattered - wonder if he was one of the players who took a bollocking from the others on wednesday after derby.

think people were booing the decision not to take wright off rather than richards.

    The fact he was offside...

is irrelevant to the uncomposed stab at the ball. He needs to be taken out the firing line IMHO.

    Wouldn't say dropping

More like packing off somewhere else if we can find someone else daft enough to have him! Our play improved immensely after Nardy came on. He made the difference. I think that he & Wright could be a good combination. Nardy & Hayes are too similar.
