Boro's number 17 was all over our midfield and defenders when they had the ball either winning it himself or forcing an error ours has as much mobility as a beached whale and the only thing he's been all over is too many big macs I'm fat and forty odd but I'm sure I'm quicker than him. Send him back to Derby tomorrow morning hilly for gods sake.

The majority of players he's inherited and all the ones he's brought in are neither quick enough in mind or body to play the way Hill wants them to at this level, it's all right in friendlys when the other team stand and watch you make pretty passing patterns but it's a bit different when the other teams in your face and you need quick feet and minds.

He needs to play Doyle and Butterfield in center midfield and Vaz Te and RNL out wide and two strikers up front davies or haynes and we need a fox in the box striker to take chances when they come I'd try and get ALF from the millers cause thats all we can afford I think and if we can't afford him at 500 k we are in trouble.

The defence needs sorting out but we can't afford 3 or 4 new defenders so he needs to improve the ones we got.

    Couldn't agree more ...

I don't for the life of me see what Addison's role is.

Against Southampton he was there to nullify a threat that simply didn't exist - namely offense through the middle of the park. The vast majority of their attacking threat was down the wings and for long periods of that match he was simply stood around marking fresh air.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt but last night was exactly as before. There was a more coming through the middle this time and still he was stood in space marking no-one.

He did a good tackle on the Boro no.9 and that was genuinely the sum total of his contribution last night.

Addison has basically stolen Doyles job. So now Doyle is now wondering what job he has and being subbed every match is probably getting him pissed off. I know I would be. I still have faith that Hill can turn things around and get a team to gel but its going to be a struggle before Xmas. I also think we have probably the most difficult first 6 games of anyone in the league (cup game not included). Football is a funny old game and who knows we might end up sticking a few goals passed Reading on Saturday. (fingers & toes crossed)

I have to agree, I too think that given time Hill will sort it out but whether he gets the time needed is another matter. The alarming part for me is that Hill seems hell bent on pissing the fans off with this crap formation he is using at home, the personnel he has in the formation and his apparent blind spot to the abject performances that we are all watching. I'm all for protecting your players but for fecks sake there is a limit and he is just trying to mug us off with his post match comments.

Doyle is better than Addison and Hassell is better than Wiseman, don't see what getting them in has improved?
