Went with @Hicksy and @Loko the Tyke a couple of years ago to see the Cribs. Outstanding venue. Next door to me too.

Missus saw Nile Rodgers / Chic there last year I think it was? She loved it.

Booked tickets to see Rick Astley there in early July. First time I've been so can't tell you what it's like.

Excellent venue, been to see New Order and Queens of the Stone Age there. Can imagine it's grim if it rains.

Was my wife’s grandma’s neighbour when he was a teenager. She used to complain that he never shut up.

Been to loads and going to 3 more this summer. Probably my favourite venue in Yorkshire especially if you hit a sunny day.

They spent an absolute shedload on it with sole purpose of making it a top class outdoor venue. Going twice this year (Blondie & Quo) can't wait.

Just Scored a massive own goal, they say its for health and safety, be huge queuing times now.
It's my local venue the general concensus is its to stop the town centre pubs making a few quid.
Never once seen a pile on at 9pm when the main act came on, just a nice steady stream with no issues, someone at Calderdale has just looked at the pound signs.

I was tempted too, but seeing them twice in 2 days in a tiny venue in London later this year. Beyond excited!

That's nuts, one of the main benefits of the venue was/is how easy it is to get in and out of, and the plethora of bars where you can get a decent pint before you go in.

Still a beautiful venue to watch a show, but you're right that's a massive own goal.

Going to Placebo in 2-3 weeks and Pixies in August. Looking forward to it.

What's the parking like? Is it signposted, or just find somewhere and hope?

They're putting some good stuff on. Was going to go see PJ Harvey and Air, but can't make either. Just one thing to point out though, as they're coming in for a bit of stick at the minute. They seem to now have a policy where you can't get in after 8PM, which for music events is ridiculous. A lot of people are leaning on them to change it.
