Just wondering my great uncle talks about a player called John Charles all the time says he was the best he's ever seen
Just wondering what players you'll still talk about in years to come doesn't have to be Barnsley players...
I always say the best player I saw at oakwell was Paul merson playing for Walsall and the player I'll talk about in 50 years will be Paul Scholes
The best footballer I've ever seen unbelievable talent!!

Adam Hammill. No question. That moment he gave me at Wembley against Oxford was the single best moment and I've never gone as barmy as when a goal went in as that. When he did it again a few weeks later I just couldn't believe it. I wonder if any player has ever scored two goals as good as that, in separate games at Wembley in the same season. Incredible.

Of all the players I could think of, Hammill was the first in my mind, Fringpong the second. [then the prem/promotion players such as Barnard, Redfearn, Bullock and Eaden]

I will be 95 by then but George Best is the greatest player I ever saw. He wasn't a diver and rode tackles.

Talking of John Charles he was a bit before my time but I did meet him at the Dorothy Hyman 42 years ago when there was some sort of charity game going the take place. I came out of my Karate class and the changing room was occupied by a load of ex Leeds players.
