No doubt these players have been influencial in our recent form pearson in midfield, o sulivan is the winger we have missed all season, warings goals not to mention ramage who is a rock on his day. Im optomistic for next season now whichever division we are in but which if any of these players could we realistically see at oakwell next season I know we tried to sign o sulivan permanently in jan but not sure about the others thoughts??

O'Sullivan is a possibility. Waring is out of contract in the summer, but I get the feeling he could have a few suiters. I feel the only way Pearson will be here is if we're in the championship and he comes back on loan, but again, we'll have competition. Ramage would consider an offer I reckon too.

I think a deal with Ramage wouldn't be too difficult, I expect him to be some sort of player/coach fairly soon. I think O'Sullivan would be a possibility, didn't we supposedly have a bid for him in January so surely there's a possibility? I think Waring is a decent shout but if he keeps scoring then maybe championship clubs would be sniffing around. As for Pearson, I can only see a season long loan at best tbh.

I think the biggest influencer to our recent improvements has been Scowen though. If we'd have had him all season it might have been a different season and I'm glad he's ours because surely he'll gain us a large amount of money (hopefully not too soon though)

Agree with this. Really hope we can keep Waring, he's the borderline one for me.

Yes also a big plus for me this season is seeing players like holgate and smith hold there place down in this league and not look out of place. Dont get me wrong had there bad games but there always going to at 18 but a think we have two gems there only going tp get better And would be nice to see waring but like you say if he carrys on championship will come in especially if he out of contract

I'm not convinced Waring as it stands would command a big fee, at least one we couldn't afford. The problem is if he continues scoring he'll attract attention and his value will go up. Then we'll be priced out of buying him.

Young lads want to play though. It's all well and good being at Stoke in a top division, but he'll be loving playing 1st team football, scoring goals and doing well for the club.

Depends which division we're in. If we're in the championship we'll probably be able to get all four (probably only a loan deal for Pearson) whereas if we're in league one I don't think we'll be able to get Waring or Pearson.

If we dont go up and we manage to keep waring and o sulivan permenantly and rest of our squad we would have a very good young squad waring been only 20 and think o sulivan 21 I for one would be having a punt on us for promotion

Would love to see us go back for Ryan Williams if he becomes available.

I like Ramage, good defender, great attitude, but he's constantly picking up injuries, do we want to be spending a top wage on such a player?

JO'S nearly signed for us so I'd suggest we can get him.

Waring is a realistic target but if he continues as he is we'll need to be in the championship to get him.

Pearson would be great for a season long loan but again I think we need to be promoted to make it happen.

O Sullivan hasn't been here long enough to impress yet. Pearson would be very difficult to get back on loan even if we are promoted. Waring will cost a fee and if he carries on scoring clubs with more money than us will want him. Ramage would depend on how much we can trust him to stay fit because we've not actually missed him.

whats the point of ramage when hes injured half the time - cant see him become any less injury prone with another year on the clock.

I mentioned this over the weekend, but Waring's agent has quoted a £1 million price tag to make the transfer permanent. That means the tribunal might make us pay £750k, especially if he was to score another six or seven goals before the end of the season.

Not sure if anyone has pointed this out yet, but JOS has just singed a new contract at Blackburn. Signed a couple of weeks before his loan kicked in, so I'd say we have no chance of him singing permanently in the summer.
