With Wolves now up & practically champions, there fans aren't going to be over desperate to come & when they can only sit in the home ends & risk being thrown out. With 6000 all ready here, the main bulk of fans are here anyway! I think the club should speak to SYP and at least be allowed to sell tickets from the box office to people on our system up until 12pm before sending them to the turnstilles. Really it should be lifted to allow sales on the gate, but at least the first option should be ok!!
I agree bout the police, I know a couple of mates who find it hard to get through durin week to buy tickets and when it's like this they can't come altogether, I think police are worried if we're gettin hammered and Norwich are winning that they might be trouble, especially with the anti-Davey sentiment around club, and there's bin a few incidents in pontyend last few home games
I always have trouble getting to oakwell during the week. Luckily I have a ST but for some of the cupmatches Ive been lucky that someone has been able to queue for me. The clubs seems to work on the idea that all Reds fans live within a stones throw of the ground and have plenty of time on their hands.
Completely agree. I sometimes queue for people who live an hour away becuase the club sometimes make it so difficult to get tickets.
RE: "Close To A Full House" Didn't say Forest was a complete sell out in all home areas yet there were loads of empty seats It will be 17,500 tops
RE: "Close To A Full House" Forest was a sell out but not all pass holders can go to every game, it was probably the young kids passes that was free that have missed some games!
I live an hour away It takes me 5 minutes to ring up and book any tickets I want and they come in the post the next day. Hardly a challenge is it?
Granted but you could for both Sheffield teams away this year (and I live close to Sheffield). Things have changed a bit from last year and a quick phonecall to the box office to order Wolves tickets is lal that's needed.
