I think the term 'downright disgusting' would be the best words to describe them. When every Barnsley fan got off of the train from Derby they just shoved all the fans to platform 5 and more or less threw them on the train when it arrived. I tried informing one of the officers that me and a friend had to get the Leeds train on platform 1 so we could get off at Fitzwilliam, did they listen to me? Nope, what did they do? Basically told me to 'go away and get back with the others', meaning i had to get the train to Barnsley and a bus back home, yes i'd had a few drinks but i wasn't completely blathered like some of them :D . They don't give you any respect at all, anyways to end it on a positive- thought we were excellent today, defence looked solid, midfield completely over ran Derby and if the strikers had put the chances away we could have won comfortably; onwards and upwards to Forest!

You should have made a note of their numbers and report them to the Chief Constable.

It's still not too late to put a complaint in to Snig Hill.

When I had my problem with the Police on Sheffield Station the Superintendent who interviewed me told me he had to be stopped from thumping a copper by his Wife when they had been on a shopping trip from Donny.

He admitted that the Police had a problem with their own men when it came to Policing after matches and that a Blunts supporting Inspector had been thumped by one of their own when he was on his way to the station after a match.

given where i live, I've often got the train back to sheffield for 6pm and the bridge of the tracks has more than once been a constant running battle between fans of various teams the police and anyone who gets in the way.

    Did they play "Roxanne"?

    One of my favourites.
