Wow that's scary, twitter #Matthancock has hardly anything linked to it. Its been wiped, either that or my Internet connection has issues when I mention Tories.
I can't say I've ever noticed those tabs, I tend to use tweetdeck anyway, so had a nosey, then typed in a few other names to see what might come up. Loads of content for other MP's, nothing at all for Matt Hancock in those tabs. There's loads of content if you look on other tabs for Hancock mind you. Utterly bizarre. I can't see how government or a law could block twitter images and videos, but just very very odd. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Could it just be fast moving so they've put all search traffic onto the main tab?
He's not in the top 30 of UK trending, today. Also, Edwina Currie has been brought out to say, "Private is Private" and he's doing a excellent job. Definite, press management job going on. It's not the affair that's the problem, although it does break ministerial rules and is possibly in breach of employment law. It's the corruption, lies, hypocrisy and general arrogance and incompetence.
I've never really looked before because I am a very infrequent twitter user. Like you say, it took Twitter months to ban Trump so I can't see them hiding stuff. Unless it's done by our ISPs
You won't find evidence of deaths from the vaccines on Google, either. DuckDuckGo, last time I looked, was finding it. I'm not anti vaccine, either. It's not even partisan issues these days. It's political/big business class versus anyone else. There's a bigger agenda at play. Big tech is certainly playing a huge role in it.
Well....... Although it has been debunked, the Royal / Canada / missing kids conspiracy has gained ground again after at least 2 mass graves were discovered at schools close to the site of the alleged event. If you Google 'Queen Canada 1964' you see plenty of results. However, the week after Phil's death, someone told me to Google exactly that phrase and there was no content returned. Whether ISPs are controlled or not?? Makes you wonder
There are plenty of stories in other countries where internet content is suppressed. Think China is the obvious one that prings to mind, but didn't Israel do something similar of late and temporarily delist something? I suppose when you think about it, all businesses, digital or otherwise are subject to the rules of the land, which a government sets if it has the numbers to do so. It's not like we need even more evidence this government is looking more like a banana republic.
