...do yesterday's events make it more or less likely we'll stay in the Championship? In my opinion they have significantly reduced as a consequence of selling the brightest prospect the club has produced for a very long time. At the first opportunity. For we older supporters this is simply the latest in a long succession of similar stories. The club has, once again, proven it has little ambition other than survival. Our reward for year-in, year-out support, is that we get to see really good players such as this for a maximum of 20 games. Some posters on here reckon we get the club our level of support deserves. I reckon the club gets the level of support it deserves.

imho it's broken the momentum Flitcroft/Mellon/Scott were building.

Stones could've gone in the summer.

we have been weak at the back for ages and the one shining light has gone, now,in the january transfer window, while we are smack bang at the wrong end of a relegation battle. He'd have still been worth the same money come the end of may.
if we wernt embroiled in the relegation scrap then fair enough, but in my opinion we are too fragile at the back to have lost him now.

I just hope flicker has something up his sleeve.
