One thing is for sure

The initial loan period is more likely to have a negative effect on his value than a positive one.

We should have waited till Jan and took the cash.

    How that work then?

Since its illegal to agree on permanent transfers outside of the window, nothing could have been signed to say that Wolves have to pay £x. I am assuming this is all down to a verbal agreement between the two clubs, which could backfire if he gets injured and is sh*t for them.

Or have I got this wrong?

    I think that..

clubs can agree a deal to be completed at the end of the loan period. Th eplayer certainly thinks he's finished here anyway

Thats not the point though is it

I'm sure its "with a view" and that there is a fee agreed.

What I am saying is that what happens if he picks up a knock, or just doesn't turn out to be as good as they think he is?

There is nothing to say they HAVE to do anything in January is there?
