We have 24 points from 27 games. 19 games left to play.

Usually about 49 or 50 points are enough to keep a team in this division.

So I make that 6 wins, 7 draws, and 6 defeats. Even that may not be enough - it's not always the case.

Can we go through to the end of the season and lose only 6 matches?

I really hope we can capitalise on the delirium following this result and notch a few more wins quickly, otherwise it could be a long few months.
The Ipswich game is really important as a win for Ipswich takes them out of our 'mini-league'.

We have to aim at winning 10 of the 19 matches left, though try to win the lot. Something at Ipswich will consolidate our apparent recovery. :)

another way to look at is we're only 4 points from safety. it's not an impossible task, and there's more than a glimmer of hope based on yesterday's performance. but we need another dozen performances like that, at least. do we have the squad to sustain that? probably not. we'll need some inspired signings IMO, during this transfer window.

We're 16/5 to beat Ipswich. I wonder if Chopra will fancy a bit of those odds.
