because Davey couldn't motivate the team to beat Forest, Charlton, Norwich, Blackpool and Southampton AT HOME. A dozen lost points, that would have seen us well clear of danger.
Don't think it was motivation Think it was his team selection and general attitude to games like that. ie " don't lose" - that worked well.
