The reasons that Gordon Shepherd gives on the official site for appointing Davey says it all

he had a better points per game average than andy ritchie (not hard of late was it)

he compiled fancy little reports on each player detailing their strangths and weaknesses (did these reports say that robbie williams' strong points were asa midfielder?)

he had got the players on side (could have fooled me, they havent even tried for him)

his approach to training is excellent (at what point in training did we start working on nardiello taking corners? oh aye, fecking marvellous that is)


Do they expect us to swallow anything that comes out of their mouths anymore? Because I for one am absolutly fed up of being used this way.

 

Does he state that Davey was the cheapest option?</p>

I am sick to **** of the crap that comes out of BFC. They constantly attempt to treat us like fools.</p>

We don't have any money, fair enough, but why ******** on about shortlists, interviews etc when from day 1, it was always going to be Davey.</p>

the one thing that annoys me the most

the decision was made on FRIDAY, so why, on saturday did I hear a radio interview saying that an announcement would be made during the week?

sounds to me like somebody hoping for a win against wednesday so that we'd all be in a good mood when the hero announcement was made.

Better than McCann's efforts

 

His appointment was more predictable than TFP's gags. PC said he wanted a coach rather than an experienced manager. It's clear he and GS are being more hands on with signings and that Davey wouldn't stand up to that. You can't blame Davey, you don't trun down oppportunities to manage as they may never come up again. I feel sorry for him.
