Copied mate. In football, the referee is the official responsible for adding time at the end of each half (and extra time, if applicable) to compensate for time lost due to substitutions, injuries, time-wasting, and other stoppages.
I agree; another couple of minutes minimum I'd have thought. Their keeper was allowed to do as he liked, and him and a couple of others had 'injuries. Add a nearly full quota of subs.
I went for 6 minutes. as to the Ref's performance, denied a definite hand ball penalty, denied a free kick for a blatant back pass, ignored all the antics of the opposition goalkeeper and then halved the added time at the end. So no change there then. Edit..Just read ball came of players knee.
I thought the ref was poor. Malone probably should have been sent off for 2 yellows. Booked in the 1st half for being a very angry man and then a pull back in the 2nd and blatantly wasting time with throw ins. I also thought we should have had a penalty. The ref didn’t cost us the win. DKD missing from 6 yards did that.
I think I could draw an accurate picture of the abs of Pines and MDGV from them always having their shirts pulled at corners, which anywhere else on the pitch we would have probably got a free kick.
It’s my pet hate, if the referee’s grew a pair and started penalising shirt pulling and holding in the box it would stop instantly.
Come on lads & lasses. Thank God it was only three minutes. We scored in the 92. That made it almost impossible for us to do our usual and concede again late on…….though we did try.
It’s always like this with time added on. If we’re defending a one goal lead there’s 8-10 minutes added. If we need a winner it’s 2-3. His overall performance from my iFollow point of view was very poor and as already said, Malone should have been off. His angry antics rivalled McClean yesterday . Did anyone see that when he nearly self-combusted appealing for a penalty which, obviously, Wrexham eventually got. Only fair, obviously.
