I never know how much to trust the commentary as I haven't been there I'd prefer to wait for the opinion of some of the folk who have been there.
RE: I never know how much to trust the commentary well I know its not the same as being there but you do get the idea which half the ball spent most of the game in and who had the better / most chances
But... The commentators were there, so why don't you want to believe them? They're fans just like us (you can tell by the despair in their voices).
I agree mate but in the past I've listened and we've been *****. When some of our pilgrims return to the fold they tell a different story (sometimes they don't though )
Those 3 guys tell it like it is chaps I'd be inclined to believe them. I know them all well obviously.
I refer you to Subject: On coach Offline Regular Posts: 143 He has got to go Gray did very well in a 4.5.1 formation Kozluk is **** Bye bye davey :'(
RE: BBC website says we had more possession but less shots on target nt said it time after time playing pretty football in non contested areas when the opposition are not too bothered about coming for it it counts for nothing. Its the **** ups in defence and the impotence at the other end that concerns me. The possession stats just confuse things at times
RE: Familiar story nt Once again, for me, the stats will tell an incomplete story. There lies, damn lies and statistics, as they say. I don't know what the total number of shots on goal stat is, but trust me, none of them seriously threatened a goal - most were no more than back passes that me granny could save.
