i know its been posted on here before that people have heard that it may be returning... well it is going to happen kind of... it was discussed at the council meeting last night... the oakwell area will get a youth centre/community centre (somehow) in the south stand that will be for local residents use and when not being used as the youth club it will be fully licensed and open to fans on match days!.... somehow doubt though you will be able to sneek out of the back door and into the ground without paying like you used to be able to do!

There's no need for a social club at the ground

...............well, in saying that, if yer unable to walk from the TARN then there probably is a need

But all able bodied people should go into town if they want a drink before a match
There's plenty of boozers to go at in town thats only a couple of minutes walk from the ground.
Which is great when you think about it
How many other football clubs are in such easy walking distance to so many pubs

For example, look at Donny and even Swilsbro is bad if you want a drink before the match
