When will it be stopped. The fixtures for December and January look brutal right now. I think the losing run ends against Preston but I can’t see another win coming in the championship until at least February.

Awful prediction but I see us getting three points in two months.

The Championship is impossible to predict due in part to “teams like Barnsley” who can comfortably lose to the bottom of the league one week and then wipe the floor with the runaway leaders the week after, etc.

I think we’ll be fine but the sheer amount of defensive mistakes that we make is incredibly troubling, particularly when you consider that both PH and JC were seasoned Championship left backs, you’d think that defence would be the area where we would be quite strong.

I think we all know that the rot started last January, so it will stop when we bring in a striker and midfielder of equal standing to Sam winnall and Connor houriane.
Without quality supply and finishing, we'll continue to flatter to deceive and ultimately it'll probably cost the club far more than it would to pay those two players what they were worth.

You’re making those predictions in a downbeat mood after this terrible run of form. The form won’t go on for that duration of time though.

In the championship, anyone can beat anyone so we’ll pick up points. Maybe even get a decent run of form going, who knows? Even if not, we definitely won’t only pick up 3 points from now until February.

We do alreet against Derby at home, but we need to go abart it all art attack and not one up front on his own. Get back to entertaining us Hecky and the results to see us to safety will come.

I’d be surprised if we hit January with more than 25 points but who knows.

This is what makes the Championship far more interesting than the Premier League. In the PL, before a ball is even kicked, you as good as already know who will end the season in the top 4 and the bottom 4, in no particular order, meaning 12 other teams are just making up the numbers. It's why, 2 seasons ago, you could get odds of 2500/1 on Leicester breaking the mould as it's all usually so predictable.
In the Championship, Wolves will probably go up as runaway winners, but this time yesterday Bolton were already deemed as dead and buried, yet one win and a few results going their way and they're out of the bottom 3. Anything can happen in this league.
In terms of our weaknesses, a commanding midfielder and a goslscoring striker seem to be high on the list of priorities, and this is true. But 2 years ago Adam Hammill's return got much credit for changing our fortunes, and he did, but we also signed Kevin Long who came in as an unsung hero, shored up our defence and enabled us to be more creative at the other end of the pitch and climb the table.
Don't write us off. It's a slump, nothing more. Some players' confidence looks shattered, everyone can see it, but we're stuck with what we have til January. Don't lose faith in the manager, he's a fan, like the rest of us, which is what hurt about the Leeds game when you could see all our players didn't appreciate what a big occasion a Yorkshire Derby is when they're just playing just another game for the team that pays their wages.

I know spurs are currently struggling but the current prem is more like a top 6 and a bottom 14.

The slump started in January and shoes no sign of abating. I’d never blame Paul he has had his team taken away and replaced with a far inferior one.

I don't disagree. But 'the slump' to which you refer is the one that stopped us challenging for top six, whereas the slump to which I refer is dragging us towards bottom three.

I think it’s a continuation of the same slump. Form is remarkably similar across the end of last season and up to now in this.

I think you’ll find the EPL is more like a top one and a bottom 19.
