Despite the dire warnings (much of it like we were), I reckon they are a long way from closure yet - if ever.

Like everything else, there will be delays and stays of execution, and further chances and trial periods, and false hopes and new opportunities.....etc....etc....etc.

Worse clubs than Rotherham have been hauled out of the swamp to play another match - and I feel sure they will too.

When was the last league club to actually cease existence?

Relax - Our points are safe.

I think there is a real danger for Rotherham

Shabby ground owned by a third pary,no assets,no fan base worth mentioning, heading into the old fourth division, would you like to run it as a going concern?

    I agree

When was the last club to go under? It never happens.

    They're slowly getting there...

    Very slowly in one case!

Newport County went 1989 - Now in Conference South

Aldershot went 1992 - Now in Conference (lost in Conference play-offs last season)

Maidstone United went 1992 - Now in Kentish Observer Football League Premier Division (Top of league at present - could be promoted to Ryman Div 1)[/i]

Think Tesco's already have their new site

They are clearing one side of Westgate for it. Could be any other large retail shed type thing though. Probably Netto or Aldi.

They r a bloody football club they shouldn't go under. We nearly did i am sure someone will step in.

I lose the spirit, but keep the feeling, let it out some how.
