The 12 teams play each other 3 times. So 33 games. Not sure how they decide home/away for the 3rd game. Then they split with the top 6 each playing each other 1 once more (again not sure how they decide home/away) and same for the bottom 6. Giving 38 games. Teams in the bottom 6 can't finish higher than 7th so you can end up with the 7th/8th place teams having more points than the 5th/6th place team.
The top 6 play each other once, and the bottom 6 player each other once. Technically, the team in 7th place can have more points than the team in 6th, yet still finish below them. Confused?
Scottish football is ****. That pretty much explains it. They split the league so people will talk about it, because the football offers nothing in the way of entertainment.
VERY! , seems abit baffling to me. Is it something to do with stopping Celtic and Rangers hammering everyone?
They don't seem to hammer anyone these days, to be honest. Either the other teams are catching up or the big 2 are getting worse. Clearly though, Celtic are going to win it.
