Keith Hill's just been on Radio Sheffield and was certain that it wasn't a sending off and hoped the red card will be rescinded. That surprised me as I thought it looked a really bad challenge. Keith was a lot closer than I, so I'll go with him. What did you reckon?

On Radio Sheff they said Foster threw himself to the floor.

They said Fozzie conned the ref.

Saunders has just said he thought it wasn't a red card either.

Off the ball and violent conduct.

Straight Red that's what I think.

    Am I wrong?

It was completely uncalled for. The ref had given Donny the free kick, and the Donny player just barged into Foster. Stupid reaction from the Donny player

Fosters an honest pro. He was injured by the challenge.

I thought it was a bad challenge at the time and, having just seen it again on the telly, I think the referee got it spot on.

its what he did of the ball to the player, because they had already got the free kick the player indicated to the ref,it was shoulder to shoulder.thats the way it look to me ,i was sat in lower west stand, still look a bit harsh to me.

Looked nailed on but an unneccesary challenge to me

Cant understand why they hadn't had a man off earlier either. The last FK looked a pen to me too and if outside the box as the linesman, with his bizarre 3 yards back dash to the edge of the area before waving his flag, would have us believe, sureley a red card was appropriate in that case.

    Ref made some strange decisions.

Still a more comfortable coast we are unlikely to see this term.

    I Agree

All fouls on our players should be punished by a red card in my opinion.

Joking apart, it was well away from the ball after play had been stopped. Donny fan sat behind me said "that's a red" straight away.

Could have been another one later on in the left hand corner, elbow on Vaz Te. He made a complete banquet of it though, ironically that probably saved the defender.

IMO the ref had already blown for a free kick against Foster.

their no.2 should have been sent off,but the Ref had only booked him about 20 mins earlier,so he just gave him a good talking to,what the difference between the 2 fouls were I don't know.

Craig Davies said in his man of the match presentation that he said to the ref it wasn't a sending off!

    Hand balls

think the ref needs to go look up the rules, both Perkins and spitting boy were playing basketball at various times and he just waved play on like he CBH.

    Looked bad from the Ponty

still looked bad on telly, but not quite as bad as I first thought. Definite booking.
