QPR overtook Barnsley with their 1-0 victory over fourth from top Preston at Loftus Road. QPR boss John Gregory commented: "We are four points clear of the relegation zone now, but it is effectively five points, because our goal difference is vastly superior to that of the teams around us. "So the teams below us will probably have to win two matches to get past us, which is a big ask." Currently Barnsley with -25 have the worst goal difference in the Championship. Burnley eased their own fears of the drop, ending a 19 match run without a win by beating Plymouth 4-0. They are now six points clear </div>

RE: "Simon Davey's team are now perilously,just two points off the relegation places." Yes, but it suddenly feels much worse when we are 4th bottom. I liked that comfort zone of an extra team between us and relegation. Now I'm scared.
