"We're looking to see if there's anyone around suitable," he said but he admitted another loan signing was unlikely to be made in time for the weekend. Andy Johnson and Sam Togwell are the main contenders to play at Leicester although during de Silva's recent one game suspension, Davey opted to play Grant McCann in the middle with Martin Devaney on the wing. "We're looking at what we've already got for someone to step up top the plate," Davey added. The Barnsley boss had been confident that the Brazilian star would stay for a third month on loan. "It was a surprise but you have to respect the boy's decision. He's played nine games or so in the Championship and thinks he's ready for the Premier League," Davey explained. Saturday's game will be the first since manager Gary Megson's decision to quit Leicester and have talks with Bolton. Assistant manager Frank Burrows and former Barnsley favourite Gerry Taggart are expected to be in charge of the Leicester team. Barnsley could have striker Istvan Ferenczi back fit for that game but Kayode Odejayi has missed training this week with an ankle injury. Barnsley's Dutch import Marciano Van <div id="ds-mpu"></div>Homoet was sent off in yesterday's reserve game against Darlington for two yellow card offences. Barnsley won 4-1. Luke Fedorenko scored twice and Rhys Meynell and Jamil Adam also got goals.
