The Strokes Tour - What A Farce

First time they have toured properly for like 5 years and the numpty promoters put them on sale at 9am today.Oh no not Saturday at 9am when everybody is off and has a fair chance of getting em,no Friday at 9am just as a large majority of people who would be going are either starting work/college/Uni etc

So by 10am the full tour is almost sold out,can't get through to Dome on phone as no doubts the two people working there are pulled out with it,probably selling as many tickets as people want to those who have queued up.

Couple of hours later e-bay is snided with tickets for all venues charging as high as £60 for a £26 ticket.A F*CKIN JOKE.Look at their carefully worded pre-typed sale pitch on each one "This is the smallest and best venue they are playing" etc etc "get down to front easy with these standing tickets and see the band close up" "BUY NOW FOR THE RIP OFF PRICE OF ONLY £110 FOR THE PAIR, FUEL MY CRIMINAL ACTIVITY AS WELL" Scumbags

Question - I wonder how many proper fans have got tickets for this tour and how many rob dog,rip off,unemployed gutter snipe,bent touts have?

Its a flipping farce and about time e-bay,the venues and the promoters did something about this.

Don't worry though i'll still be going that night and i'll get to see the boys by offering the scumbags half what they paid for em 10 mins before Julian and the lads go onstage,and if they don't like the colour of my money i'll catch train to sheff and have a good night,F*ck em
