that french guy Platini doing the pre tournemant press conference was saying how england didnt deserve to qualify as they are not in the 'top 16 teams in europe' and that the top 16 have qualified and deserve it, so basically he was sayin Austria and Switzerland are better then us and in the top 16 in europe, ye rite pile of crap, worst hosts of a tournemant for a long time, well before South Africa 2010

 

Particularly 2 hosts

I would have been happier if they had to play off and only 1 of them got an automatic place

the groups are unbalanced as 3 of four seeds were Austria, Switzerland and greece

 

also the routes of teams getting to the final is ridiculous now, UEFA have cocked it up big style and platini is a *****!

Switzerland were very unlucky to lose both of their games. Also, their game today was played in awful conditions.
England wouldn't have done any better

And yes, I agree that two hosts is too much, but in my opinion the hosting country (just one though, I hope they don't share tournaments between two countries anymore...) should still get an automatic place in the final tournament in the future.

 

I hope they do get an automatic place

it may well be the only way we can qualify for the World Cup
