    I know it is not going to be headline news every day but since the enormous thread on here recently there has been nothing further. Do we know for certain that things are still progressing... or otherwise ?

    I'd expect a takeover to be quiet til the deal is concluded. That Maurice Watkins stepped down, that is as big an indicator as I can imagine given his remit to find a buyer.

    We'll know when we know.

    and there is also some truth to the fact that I went to look at new car the other day...sat down with the salesman, discussed trade in, or a straight cash thing (keeping the car for my daughter) etc, and various deals... but did not commit. Not been back since. Just Like this take over...its just a fantasy.
