We haven't won a league game since 4 December and Davey keeps saying that the game could have gone differently. Granted I'm unable to watch the games, as I'm 1000's of miles away, so I can only go on the radio commentary. But, are we really playing well each week and getting a bad run of decisions and moments of 'brain fade' each and every game; or are we desperately in need of some good performances? If it is the latter, then Davey needs face reality and say that we were below par, not that 'we could have won, if things had gone differently'. Which was the same problem that Paul Hart had. The only time he opened his mouth was to say that the team worked their socks off and we could have won on another day.
its the latter mostly there has been some bad decisions go against us, but we have been on the recieving end of some dodgy decisions too. Davey does not seem to be able to work out more than one gameplan per game. If the plan goes wrong then we are up **** creek. Thats the way I see it anyway
We were robbed against Stoke - should have won that game I believe we were robbed of a point against Bristol - wasnt there though Lucky to get a point at scunny - cancels out the Bristol one Outplayed against Norwich and QPR deservedly beaten We probably should have had 3 more points if things were completely fair but thats probably all Last 4 games we have played badly - bad luck and bad reffing nowt to do with that
"Outplayed against Norwich" - we had them on the rack in the first half and should have won that game , we allowed them back into it in the second half when they did outplay us, but the situation shouldn't have arisen.
I wouldn't have said we had them on the rack in the first half, although we did look fairly comfortable. The second half defies description from a Barnsley perspective.
RE: yer going to the qatar match in melb?.............. nt Definately. Should be a good game. Also looking forward to the Victory games in the Asian Champions League. Hopefully some quality football for Melbourne in the coming months.
