    In this case.

Torys promised a referendum and got in power with it with the promise of EU reform.

He or they didn't get much reform. The country votes out and now he jumps because he doesn't want to deal with it. It backfired on him

And by the looks on their faces, the other 2 (Boris & Gove) don't relish the challenge.

Not saying he didn't. I agree with you. He was in a position that would be difficult not to.

He gambled to get in power. Thought he could reform.

He got nothing. And deserves what he got.

But as PM. He took the easy option. And will still take in millions and be a millionaire.

Meanwhile no matter what happens. Jack down the road will be happy he got a 10p an hour pay rise. Because he has had nob all payrises for years

Of course he will - that's why he's as culpable as the rest.

Ah yes, it's a Tory plot, as evidenced by the 70% out vote in their heartlands of Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster.

It was a minor Tory squirmish that's ended up with massive repercussions.
