    full of shoppers. It's not nearly half as full of shoppers normally on a tuesday, plus the colleges are shut today so there are no students about. I wonder who all these extra people are out enjoying themselves? Picketers? Suely not.

    If they are people on strike then so what. They have removed their labour for the day, they will not get paid. They can do as they like, some will picket, but there is a limit to numbers of picketers, the rest can go shopping.
