According to the official site Sheff Utd are set to sign Sunderland's Chris Brown on loan, one the players we were after on deadline day. Does that mean that we can still sign players on loan? Does anyone actually know what's going on?

    Loan deals allowed

1, 2 or 3 month only. and window opens again on Jan 1st. farce is the word.

on the subject of Brown, we prob couldve got him on loan if we'd done our homework and asked in the summer. instead of saying our jigsaw was complete and making a few panicy/half hearted/desperate phone calls on deadline day. he's a good player, as are the other 6 names I mentioned early last week. if we are paying one pound per year to our scouts we are being robbed f.ucking blind.

Which is why SM saw them as legitimate targets for Barnsley, they fit perfectly with our selection criteria.

Although a broken foot is only short term injury, so that could be why they overlooked one of them.

wasnt it SM who was having a go a couple of weeks back for signing injured players. kettle, black, pot, calling - me thinks.

It's not that short term, Howard broke his foot in July and still seems to be nowhere near back. It's been two months already.

Didnt know any of them were injured

so scrub the 2 that are, leaves 5 others tho.

I think the Ritchie-Wilkinson ex Northampton/Oldham injured and cheap option strategy should be challenged, thats all.

so shove the f.ucking pot up your arse.
