Ok today is the day that the window ‘slams shut’.

what would a decent window look like? I’m hoping we shift out a lot of the riff raff (likely on loan) to allow us to bring in a couple of quality players on loan, one of those being up front.

all unfounded and ridiculous rumours appreciated, @Tyketical Masterstroke im sure you can help out here.

Rashford to the end of the season. To aid his rehabilitation. We have agred to pay half his Tequila bill but we have had to guarantee that he will get a start for every game.

    Optimistic window:

Get the Earl deal over the line
Sign George Byers and Niall Ennis
Sell Cundy and Watters to Sheffield Wednesday for a combined total of £10 million up front. Wednesday can't quite believe their luck that we haven't insisted on an appearance-based fee for Cundy or any extra goal-related payments for Watters.

    Realistic window:

Get the Earl deal over the line.
Some fringe players leave on loan.

    Doom and gloom window:

    The Earl deal collapses.
We sell Kane to Bolton, Williams to Derby and Cole to Portsmouth for a combined total of £600,000.
It turns out there's an error with Pines' paperwork and he can't play until next season.
Robbie Cundy signs a new 5 year deal.
Certain sections of the BBS start w#nking themselves silly as they gleefully wax lyrical about the incompetence of the board and general lack of ambition, while a couple of the uber-loons rejoice, as they're genuinely pleased that Jordan Williams has left.

I’m not expecting anything beyond this Earl deal in, with Styles out, and maybe some loan players going out.

Wednesday journos reporting us and Rotherham were interested in Byers on loan but he's ended up going to Blackpool.

    Another one missed.

Looks like the Vikki rumour is true. She's off to Huddersfield with Nicola.
Shame that, means we've lost a whole physio team now.

Bolton signing Aaron Collins from Bristol Rovers. Very good move for them.

Deadwood shipped out; Cundy, Watters, Shaw, Russell.
    Sheperd out on loan.

In; Earl, a combative midfielder to compete for a place with Connell as we are terrible when he’s injured. A striker to push for a place as Watters & Cosgrove aren’t very good, & if Mcatee or Cole gets injured we’re buggered.

I also expect some late interest in Cole & Kane given their contract situation. I would accept no less than £1.5 million for the pair in total. BUT only if we can do deals for instant replacements. Byers would have been ideal.

Bet when we found that out yesterday and went back in for Enis.

Not expecting too many surprises maybe two or three outs

Someone we've been linked with in the past I recall.. don't think we're short on forwards, in fact too many choices really but goalscorers maybe.. Collins isn't prolific either so no better than we have already.

Someone's mentioned in the thread about him that we were wanting to take him on a permanent deal, but he's wanting to see out his contract and assess his options in the summer. He's 28, so you'd expect his next move to be his most lucrative one. Can't blame him really. But I think that probably prices us out.
