    My neighbour just told me his friend knows Terry Butcher and spent some time with him in the week whilst he was down here. He turned down the role because his assistant (Malpas is it?) wouldn't join him.

    He also said Paul Ince was down for talks too at the same time.

    He could not have spent much time with him, was not here two minutes, wanted to get back. Doubt he would have said anything about talks

    the lass in the chip shop who is pally with that check out girl in ASDA's , who's hubby works in PC World who sold a laptop to a bloke who runs the Garage at Allots Corner who served a bloke in a Jag who said he new a fella at Dodworth who knew a taxi driver that ran a helicopter pilot up an darn the M1 between Sheffield and Barnsley .. is that the guy... because we all know that guy on here

    Whatever the reason for him saying no I don't buy into his "unfinished business at Inverness" excuse for turning us down. That was the case before coming to speak to us so just wish he could have been honest with us.
