I love the piece at the end that says 'they weren't much cop anyway'.
I've worked with them and they aren't that bloody good.

They could've been the best singing duo ever And never got this level of free publicity . How long before their publicity "machine" starts labelling them something along the lines of "The bad girls of pop" ?? The two kids are milking this for all it's worth , probably because their "talent" won't be capable of doing it for them .
I think the closest they'll get to a career in the music industry Is behind the till at HMV in Meadowhell!
RE: Said Power On News Yeah, they wouldn't have gone on there if they'd said 'Gleadall' - not very music industry is it? Not like Power? How are you supposed to win talent trek with a name like 'Gleadall'?
I've been thinking the same thing... There's no such thing as bad publicity in their game. They've been on Look North tonight as well...
RE: £120 is cheap Said it earlier- I think this was the plan all along. She swore as soon as she came on the pitch. Think about the publicity they have had today- two most popular papers in the country, interviews on both local news programmes. How much would all that cost? We are being made the villans in all this when in fact we are the patsys to a gimmick by a band who would struggle to entertain a tuesday night at Swanee Rd Club.
Ayup, any boozer in Wombwell would be considered a step up from playing at Swillsborough!!! Classy venue is The Alma I'll have you know! ff Wouldn't surprise me, Jimmy, about it being a set-up - the timing did seem a bit too convenient...
Their recent tour - Hemsworth, Wombwell, Darfield, Goldthorpe, Wath - Ladies and Gentlemen - TWIN!! You could see the punters now, falling into hushed awe inside the Alma 'Sssh sssh - these won the kareoke in The Ship last week!'
RE: Their recent tour - Hemsworth, Wombwell, Darfield, Goldthorpe, Wath - Ladies and Gentlemen - TWI ff ff ff They might as well have won the karaoke at The Ship it was about all they did on Setdi afternoon!
Course I did mate! I was ready for home not long after you'd gone but a few double whiskys changed that! Wound up in Tempo as usual!
