Wiseman - not convinced about him defensively, sorry. Seems to get caught on his heels, and allows the winger to get round him. Too many dangerous crosses coming in, a few goals of late have come from him being beaten or out of position.

Golbourne - contray to popular opinion, given a few games to aclimatise to Championship, I reckon he could be a great signing.

    As i've said before

Wiseman looks very handy going forward and would benefit from a right midfielder who's decent at doing their defensive duties when called upon, such as Jim O'Brien, thought the two of them together looked very comfortable against Portsmouth.

Golbourne looked decent when he was moved to left back on saturday, which was refreshing as I don't think his crossing is good enough to be a natural winger. Would rather have it how it was on saturday with him at full back and Done on the left wing.

    Agree with that statement exactly.

    Nothing more to say really.

I prefer full backs who defend first and foremost

and get forward when the opportunity presents itself. Not sure Wiseman has the balance right yet, dont disagree about O Brien, but our problem this season is conceding too many goals and the priority should be stopping that. Golthorne made some good challenges and showed a bit of spirit, if he gets a run at LB, which he should cos we all know McEverley is a liability, Im hopeful he'll turn into a good defender.

    Foster needs to go, btw.

Can't argue with full backs defending statement, however I just feel with our current crop, we've to make the best of what we've got really, and I reckon Wiseman with O'Brien ahead of him is the best option when available.

You are right about Wiseman. Watch the late save that Steele makes and what happens up to that point. The player who gets the shot off goes on teh outsideof his very easily and has run from the touchline.

Golbourne looks ok so far. But he can't be worse than JayMac.

Can't agree with the Foster comment. Think he's played really well this year, like he has for the other few years he's been here.

Wiseman much like Trippier when he was with us, needs to be played further up the field. Not too good defensively but going forward with pace and crossing the ball he's good at.

Can't fault Golbourne for any goal conceeded yet since his arrival. I agree that he will come good with games, once he gets used to an harder standard of football.

Foster McNulty been best central pairing in my opinion this season, however, there is room for considerable improvement in that department.
