Let me be clear from the start, I've read numerous threads about Android boxes and due mostly to not being a teccy and also it's an age thing (I'm considered a bit of a dinosaur by my grown up kids ) - I simply don't understand what they are, or have a Scooby about how to set one up. If I understand the gist of it, they are a device that will let me kick Sky into touch, and yet be able to watch all the entertainment channels, film channels and sports channels that I want. If that is right is there anyone out there that will come out and set me one up ? - for a reasonable recompense of course 'Cos to be honest it's the only way I'm ever gonna get set up with one. (And this is a genuine request) Thanks
I've got one its quad core HD and everything, but it only transmits in SD and if you haven't got decent internet it's no good. I've goy fibre optic and it still buffers.
What programme you use ? I'm watching Reading game and its very watchable not HD by any means but not buffering or anything.
Still got sky mate, not cancelling til I get it right. Got kodi, mobdro etc all the same. It's supposed to be HD, it's connected with HD leads, but it's definitely SD
I'm with orared in being a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to things like this. Watching ICT v Hearts. 0-0 h/t and poor viewing. Will those boxes help improve games such as this?
Tbh I wouldn't cancelled sky for it anyway but its OK for films and series etc and also for foreign sports channels that's showing English games live but are not on ours. Try vdubt25 for sports and cartoon HD or genesis for films etc.there's a tutorial how to set them up on google.
They are all already installed on the box I have. The films are sometimes very good quality, it's the live streaming football that's poor.
