Was down Oakwell over the weekend getting a season ticket sorted and there was this bloke who took the biscuit when it came to complaining (and we all know that's what Tarn fans do the best!)

He told the woman behind the counter that he'd been a season ticket holder in the Ponty for the past three years but wanted to move to the East Stand lower. She showed him the screen and explained that only those in blue were still available. He said

"But there's none far back enough for me plus I need 4 love. It's all these new people getting season tickets. it's terrible"

    She responded

"But that's what we want isn't it? New people signing up?"

    He says

"Yeah but we should have first choice"

    She responded

"Well your original seat is still reserved it's just that you want to move!"

    Sighing deeply he continued

"Anyway, me son were 11 the other month, is he still under 11?"

Looking at him gone out she answered

    "No he's 11 to 18 now"

    In amazement he responds

    "Typical, bloody typical"

Then he walked off saying he'd think about it and call in during the week after queueing for an hour!

Proper numpty. Where do they come from?

    He's wrong anyway

..saying he should have first choice. He has the same eligibility to buy spare seats as anyone else, whether you hold a ST elsewhere or not.

Unless he thinks he should be able to take someone elses seat before the deadline? Wouldn't surprise me.

I've moved my ticket but Ihad the sense to find freeseats early doors before they were taken. Moaning fcker.

"me son were 11 the other month, is he still under 11?" Brilliant!

And isn't he after new season tickets as well, seeing as he's moving but wanted 4 tickets?!

    Are you moving this year?

It's quite civilised at our side of The Ponty.

Sounds like someone last Thursday when I renewed my ticket.

I renewed the usual 3 seats in Ponty, plus claimed a free one seat direct behind mine. No problems at all, done and dusted in 10 minutes.

Windown next to us, a woman wanted to renew but claim two free seats. Wasn't happy when told she would have to move because no others spare around them. Then complained because she couldn't prove the age of one of the kids. She then decided to moan because she was getting charged £2 for paying with card.

    Thought about it

But staying put. Couldn't quite get where we wanted - obviously the fault of the BFC selling ST's like.
