If we raise enough taxes from you and all the other tax payers in Britain and we make Britain a better place to live by building more hospitals, roads, schools and houses - is that going to reduce immigration into this country ???
Or are these improvements going to push immigration into Britain to over 500,000 per year ?

In other words - with open door immigration has Britain to peddle like hell just to maintain a static level of quality of life?
Or - is it better to pick and choose who we allow to come to this country - and jobs are available say in the health service then there is no reason why the right people are given those jobs

The main question to ask yourself is do you want a court in Europe being able to over rule the high court in London?

I'd rather we stopped worrying about money going to the EU and start concentrating on the money we lose in unpaid corporation tax and close tax loop holes - we'd get far more money back
We could use the money to rebuild social houses sold off and weren't replaced - replace school places that were lost when birth rates dropped and schools closed or merged- we could also use that money to fund a hospital rebuilding program

    And the question real is...

Are you really stupid enough to think that any money saved (if there is in fact any) will be pumped into public services generally or even more stupid to believe that Westminster will match in any way shape or form the funding this area has received from Europe over the years?

Do you think it will make much difference at all to the numbers of illegal immigrants pouring in from war zones we are culpable of creating?

**** me static, don't let dogmatic jingoism, perpetuated by the right wing media lead us down the garden path to disaster for this area and the futures of ourselves and all our children.

    Don't be feckin ming mongs.

Truth is, a lot of people are going to be ming mongs based on a narrow blinkered ill informed vision they have.

The EU is not perfect and needs reform but that does not mean we should commit economic suicide.

Hope there's enough of a quiet majority to stop the potential nightmare the Brexit will bring.

    Fin.

    Money Saved ???
Not mentioned the £10 BILLION a year we give them. The EU has not given Britain 1p of their own money - its our own money that THEY decide where to spend it.
But I'm talking about tax payers money here that the government receives right now for building schools and hospitals etc.
Obviously if you add another £10 Billion to that then things could be even better.
And yes the immigrants are paying taxes but are they paying enough taxes to maintain a massive schools and hospital building programme - because I cant see it

It seems to me that for every argument there's a perfect counter argument.
In this case isn't it that the companies that are "getting away with it" would just up sticks and move somewhere else if we started to bring them to rights??
Needless to say I still have no clue which way to vote

Re: And the question real is...

Obviously you think it purely a right wing plot.

TRANSPORT union RMT will campaign to leave the “pro-austerity, anti-worker” EU in 2016’s referendum.
At its conference in Newcastle yesterday, delegates reaffirmed the union’s long-standing opposition to the Brussels-based political bloc and committed to campaign for an exit left.
RMT general secretary Mick Cash explained that the union backed withdrawal because the EU was pursuing a neoliberal agenda of privatisation of public services and expects member states to follow suit.
“EU policies are at odds with the aspirations of this union, as the various treaties and directives are demanding the privatisation of our rail and ferry industries,” he said.
“The Tories will be campaigning to stay in the EU come any referendum as they support this right-wing, neoliberal, anti-worker agenda

    PS...ming mongs sounds quite offensive.

    ****in spot on mate

i'd also say that many of the big unions who are supporting remain are doing so because they have very little choice, they do not want any potential job losses coming back to haunt them.

spartacus gives what seems to be the opinion that all brexit voters are merely thick as **** and give absolutely no consideration for anyone other than themselves.what a load of ******.

Just read an article in the German press...exhorting us to stop in . Overall it was a reasonable article ,
unfortunately it said those wanting to leave were the less well educated elderly British.....Neither complimentary nor accurate.
