Once they scored we were up against it. Second half they took attackers off and packed defence and parked the bus.
I saw the slip that allowed the cross, but who was supposed to be marking the scorer?
I’ve heard all the stuff about the ref, but no ref is going be kind to us and I never met a fan of any club who would acknowledge that the ref was on their side. We never seem to get a man with that kind of space in the opponents box.

We do but DKD heads them straight at the keeper.

I think they took their attackers off, well the 2 wingers in particularly, because of the changes we made. Our wing backs were replaced with more ‘central players’ we totally dominated play after that without ever looking like scoring. The shirt-pulling and holding at corners was beyond belief. One time, Robert’s was hauled to the floor by his waist . De Gevigney literally had his shirt took off him. The non- marking for their goal was disappointing.

Said before, we always seem to have a monkey on our backs to slow us down. Be it bogey teams, general home or away form, or the ridiculously long lasting run of not winning after going behind.

Just look as yesterdays results for example. I was bemoaning some other teams ability to routinely take advantage of Birmingham’s slip up and thinking how typical of us to tow at home against a team that aren’t noted for their scoring exploits.

I think that come the end of the season, not many teams will reflect on a season where they blew everyone away and played lovely football. Fans of all clubs will tell you they have bogey teams and unwanted habits.

Spot on. If we'd have had Cambridge at home yesterday we'd have won. Always seems to be extra unnecessary jeopardy on our games. (Especially at home).

Had Birmingham won yesterday we would have won.
