was bloody cold, a rare event but one most welcome.
Good first half from Barnsley, we should have got possibly more than one.
McPhail did well an ran the game for the most part until he was marked out of the contest in the second half. After that we ran out of ideas.
Solid defence with Kay and Reid outstanding, however, you could have put your mortgage the Cheeries equalising from a headed goal. They had a couple of tall lads up front that, although they didn't win everything, posed a big threat.
A good save from Colgan which apart from picking the ball out the net once, was about all he did. Shuker ran his buns off, tracking back and finding himself instantly surrounded as soon as he got in their half.
Devaney I'm afraid did nothing. Which dissapoints as I was looking forward to seeing more of what I last witnesed at Swindon. Bournemouth however are a slightly different proposition than the Wiltshire side. They look very handy coming forward, slick and built well. They were however pretty toothless in front of goal.
Nardiello look leaden when he came on, which suprised me. I expected him to try and run the defence a bit - a good knock down for a disallowed goal was all he could produce.
Credit to Ritchie for not trying to stifle the game after they equalised and going fo the second.
A good result but I suspect we were a tad lucky in the end.

The Bournemouth ticket office is a disgrace. Kept waiting 10 minutes into the game whilst they tried (not too hard) to work round a busted ticket dispenser. This really doesn't justify the boorish, rude and uncivilisd behaviour of some of the Reds fans though. What I thought was particularly funy was the large geezer in front of me in the queue gobbing off and being supoorted at every turn by a little rat faced runt, who bore more than a passing resemblance for the banjo playing buck-toothed, piggy-eyed, in-bred Cleetus Oreetus from Deliverence.

I'm sure our side can play better than what they did last night and are worthy of a play off spot at least. Lets hope so.

To any that founded their evening at the Queens Park and returned thence after the game - do you know why it was swarming with Old Bill? There must have been about 30 coppers there. I expect it had kicked off at some point. I parked in the car park and the back and walked through the boozer hoping to see a few stragglers that I know ( No luck ) there was quite a lot off boys in there already well ale-d up. No doubt the resulting fracas came from them.

An then. A nice drive to Norwich. 3 hours, not bad really.
