    I thought you were going to say they were arseholes for not knowing that they might have a few problems if all the connected modems needed to renew their ip address at the same time. Never heard of any other isp - not even BT making that particular screw up

    I got (eventually!)through because mine had been really slow for days and then stopped.The pillock who answered the phone even booked an engineers visit because he didnt know of any problems.
