a lot of folk got very enthusiastic after the performance against Everton and rightly so, it was a great performance and a brilliant night.
However when you look at it in the cold light of day, we have conceded some bad goals against Everton, Chesterfield and Millwall, we are also making hardly any chances in games ( an hour to get a shot on target against Burton etc), and getting fewer on target. Martinez said we were clinical against theml but we would have to be superstar efficient to win loads of games on the chances we are making.
I just can't see how we can persist with one up front especially at home, the Everton performance aside a lot of folk are just going to drift away and stop going.
I just hope reinforcements are on the horizon that allow us to vary it somewhat,.
That's not moaning btw that's just how I see it so far!

That makes perfect sense. I've got no doubt we'll get better but getting another striker in is important

I also think that the silly goals conceded will become less common as the cohesion between the back four gets better as they play together more

It's obvious to see the squad is paper thin.

Lose 3 players & we are very weak.

Think we've been waiting for the Stones deal to maybe sign someone & that now looks like it won't happen, so we are just gonna have to accept some ups & downs, depending who we have fit.
