MDG is a defensive nightmare. He cant take a throw, cant tackle without putting his hands all over the opposition. Give stupid fouls away. We need another centre half in this transfer window.

    Pathetic
Just come from 2-0 down at half time, new team, new tactics, won the game and you can't wait to slag our team.
Bugger off and support Man City
No wonder players don't come here with your attitude,

    Think about that.

Like me saying Gally, Hooky Feller and Jay are brilliant posters, but you're a lovely person.

We've just won 2 from 2 after a tough summer

    Enjoy the win.

Got 3 points despite been without our first choice centre backs.

A bit harsh on poor old Biddy, I'm sure he means well but being in the limelight never seems to go too well.

I reckon Conor will be aware of where our defenders are at.

Yes and we've known it since last season and still nothing has been done about it.

Although neither gave away the penalty and neither are to blame for our keeper going walkies for the second.

Good win and showed some courage. Can’t gloss over the fact that the defending was poor, desperately need a new CH with Roberts being out. Personally thought Earl was more of a liability than mdg- good thing shepherd will be back next week against Bolton

I think we all expected to struggle defensively today, missing Shepherd & Robbo, and knowing that Earl & MDG have a mistake, or a rush of blood in them.

I’m not sure it’s worthy of starting a poll though. They haven’t cost us any points, and Shep will be back next week, and hopefully more additions to come.

Well letting MDG take the throw in near the end was a mistake. As he shaped up to take it I said it would be a foul throw, as 90% of his throw ins are.

I think it was a ridiculous and unnecessary comment aimed at Biddy.
He was asking a basic question, a simple yes or no, about two players.
    Wasn't he ?.

Eh? MDG and Earl are the last defenders *60 flipping yards* from our goal and MDG passes it straight to their player who slots it through, leaving the keeper compromised.

    https://www.skysports.com/football/...nsley-3-2-burton-albion-league-one-highlights

MDG did something similar to Flavell last year, and Flavell was also blamed by some on here as Flavell didn't know whether to come or not.

Just dumb all round, defending so high up, not even a chance of an offside defending in their half.

Headhunting, who would you say its against ?.
I agree actually, and I think the headhunting against our two former managers/coaches is just ridiculous, and bordering on personal!.
But I'm guessing your saying its aimed at somebody else.

I agree, Earl was more of a liability today. His distribution was poor and he seemed nervous. However, there were changes to the starting back four to last week so let’s hope they can settle

Putting a poll out like this imo beggars belief. I don't think anyone has given a thought to the bemusing tactic of that first half. Which Burton took total advantage of. Not only did Burton put us under pressure. So did our midfield. Struggling to get the ball out of our half. Connor in his interview wasn't pleased but I think McGoldricks interview was more revealing. Connor gave em more of a rollicking it seemed. It definitely worked whatever was said.
Imo the 2nd goal was unforgivable. (I've said so in another thread) the positioning was bemusing with the loan attacker not even picked up. And given a free run.
