If your really hungry, go there. Biggest menu I've ever seen, and the biggest mixed grill (called a Twiggy!). Also has the cheapest fillet steak I've come across.

You came across the fillet steak! Had they run out of pepper sauce?

I went there about 12 years ago and ordered the mixed grill which at the time was called The Billy Bunter special. After a hour I had to concede.I tried my best but could only eat about 3/4.The biggest mixed grill I had ever seen.

I can vouch for it too. Used to go there a few years back at xmas with an old employer. Few memories in there. Good grub too.

Had a Dover Sole there en route back from the races at Thirsk. beautifully cooked with all the trim, which having had no lunch I managed just about to finish. What amazed me was the price. For our group of 9, plus beers, £147.
