Pie and milk Ash on pancakes Marmite on anything Yorkshire pudding with jam You're all mentally unwell
Just think if these were only the issues in this world to be dealt with. They could soon be addressed as we could have a Minister for culinary correctness. Whichever party promotes Hash and pancakes with brown sauce will get my vote. Imagine Nigel Farage as minister in a pickle, oh wait a minute.
I've never had a weird food thing but i've seen plenty of people who have. I know a guy who makes fruit smoothies with veg in. Sounds nice when he's saying he's put in strawberries, raspberries and then goes on to say cabbage and spinich is in there too Had a mate at middle school who for the two course dinners would always dip his burger in the custard of his dessert. That always seemed odd.
There's nothing weird about Hash and pancakes. I feel sorry for those that have, and continue, miss out out on this culinary delight. Now, dipping burger into custard is weird, I could never do it particularly as I wouldn't want to see brown sauce and custard merge.
Anchovy sandwiches after getting in at 11:30pm after an enormous quantity of beer in the pub. Please add that to your list.
Growing up I never knew anybody who had pancakes as a sweet. Corned beef hash and pancakes, horse n cart, tooth brush n toothpaste , etc etc. Think the sweet thing is American with maple syrup
Never tried it always have pancakes with sweet stuff like sugar or jam, at a push lemon juice. The only way i'd try dipping a burger in custard would be on a man versus food challenge. Adam when he presented it used to do use sweet stuff to help food down. He'd get full on something so start eating spoonfuls of ice cream in between which would make him less full even though he was eating more. Great show should come back.
My missus makes smoothies like that, the spinach is in just for the goodness, you can't taste it over the fruit
Me too. I put bits of stuff like broccoli n sprouts, carrots, parsnip etc , can't taste it over the fruit and nuts , healthy as fook till I try walking up Oakwell lane after match especially if we lost .
parsnips are just about the only veg i cant eat raw,i love raw broccolli and sprouts,in fact i'd sooner eat them raw than cooked.
Tbh I can eat most veg raw ,cabbage ,turnips, almost any but it gets a bit tedious sometimes so i bang em in a smoothie . A lot easier drinking and all the goodness is there as well. I can throw anything in raw sometimes I end up with 12 fruit and veg portions in one gulp but always with the overriding taste of apples n grapes . As I said healthy as fook till oakwell lane lol. Mind that's cos et coal dust I expect.
I realise now I've lived in the South and abroad for far too long. lard salad cream sandwiches apple pie with milk carnation a bowl of chips covered in soup Fcking hell. It's like some kind of time-warp and I've woken up in 1973. And it's dinner time. I'm 'aving 'oops.
