    Davey has just said on Radio De Da that when Lazarus was 12 he played him in the U18s.

    If he's that good why is he at Oakwell?

    Close the Academy there's no talent coming through :D

    12yo playing under 18s, he must be a big lad but dont know theres no profile on him

    If he's good enough he's old enough but I hope Davey doesn't try and bring him on too quickly.

    No doubt some plank will say he's only taken the two lads down because there had been some muppets calling for the Academy to be closed.

    I'm not saying he should not do it. I'm just saying I hope he is picking him for the right reasons. Not because he is feeling desperate and doesn't have any better options.

    doubtful the academy get rid of all good players look at young player of year dale tonge they treat him like a lovely person season after he won that davey ran him out to try and make an example what a ******

    Both the lads will have been training with the first team squad so Davey and the coaching team will have seen them up against senior players. I would still be surprised if he puts Lazarus on the bench.

    Is he allowed to play? At only 15 I wouldn't have thought he would be allowed to play in an official senior game.
