but not as bad as the referee for allowing it to happen. After his 3rd or 4th time of it happening I started to count on the scoreboard how long he was taking. The rule is 6 seconds that he can hold onto it, but I counted 12 and 13 seconds on 3 occasions. Yet the referee kept allowing it to go. Then after all their pushing and pulling in the first half, and continuing to get away with it, the first time we did it in the second half we got penalised.

Great result though from the lads and I'm so proud of what Flicker has achieved in such a short timescale.

Yes too true. But it turned on them in the end.

I don't agree with you on that one fella. I thought the ref let both teams have a bit of physical contact. There was one particular moment in teh first half when a ball was running out towards the West Stand and there full back was ushering it out when somebody (don't recall who) launched themselves towards the ball flattening him onto it. We got the throw in and it was a nailed on free kick. Henry pulled back Perks and got away with it. My point is he didn't mind a bit of contact and was the same for both teams. In another regime that would have meant we got bullied, but not with this team.

He took far longer with goal kicks in the first half than Luke did towards the end of the game when we were running the clock down.

Lol, maybe I had my Red blinkers on then mate. Unlike me, you seem like a fair fan that sees both sides. I know I'm right on the keeper situation though bud.

Yes that was a definite foul on the west stand touch line near the corner flag late on. How on earth the linesman didn't flag it I'll never know he was within a yard of it.

I've never known us blatantly waste time like a lot of our opponents, maybe it's something we should employ

The ball went out in the west stand 2 mins from the end and flicker told the 3 young kids there not to throw it back but they did and micky looked at me and said "kids these days...never do was there told"

One occasion I counted it took him 20 seconds to take a kick. To be doing that from the 10th minute! Note that he speeded up a bit for the last 10 mins though! :)

Also, does anyone else think they only had one tactic? Lump it upfield to the guy on their right side, who to be fair did cause us plenty of problems. did find it rather ironic on the occasions we punted it forward when their fans shouted "HOOF!"

    On occasions!!??

Thought first half it was all we did. First time under Flicker that i thought it was long ball. We have certainly been more direct since he took charge but i thought first half it was out n out long ball trying to hit O Grady most of the time! 2nd half we definitely calmed it down abit though and played abit more football!!

it was a negative from them though and that they were happy at 1-0. You should never be happy at 1-0 away from home because it can soon chance and the home team can gather momentum from that.
